A brief update. Our next gig is Friday 7th June at the Barfly in London with PEARL AND THE BEARD. We will be recording some new songs in late June which will come towards the end of the year. A new single will be out around about the time of YNOT Festival. It'll be download only but there will be more info available nearer the time. We are still on the hunt for a new blog/site so everything may change over the weekend.

Gigs

Last night we were confirmed for this years YNOTFESTIVAL. We will be playing the Quarry stage on Saturday 4th Aug for BBC Introducing. It's good to see that some of our friends are also playing (alright the captain, inflight program) and the general line up is as strong as i've seen it. Last year we spent about 4 hours at the festival, we must have had a gig the night before or something. So this year we intend to make a weekend out of it.

Yesterday we played 2 gigs. One was rather shoddy (Derby) and one was rather good (Burton). Crash of Rhinos performed their Distal LP in its entirety which was a shame to miss. We did play with a band called Black Wolf Catch in Burton who I really enjoyed. This made up for missing Rhinos.

We've got a few weeks off until our next run of gigs. Next one is Friday 8th June at The Barfly in London. I will post a full gig list shortly.

I don't think we anticipated any foreign orders so we've had to jack up the price slightly for overseas shipping (sorry about that!). Pictures of the new shirts below...

Back in England...

We're back home. Europe was fantastic. We played some amazing gigs and met many great people. The dedication that lostalone fans have is pretty amazing. The italians deserve a special mention for loading the van with cakes, bread, chocolate etc... I will sit down and finish the tour diary very soon. It was enjoyable doing it everyday and it was only the lack of wifi in venues/hotels that put a halt to it. Updating the site from an iPad has proved rather tricky as the new blogspot layout isn't all that compatible with the iPad. So right now everything is going to come on this news page and I'll either try and get my laptop working or just try and find another decent blog site to use for the site. We have 3 gigs this week. They're all pretty local to us but it's nice to continue the momentum that we had on tour. The dates will be posted at the bottom of this blog. As will a few tour pictures . We plan to get some new recordings down pretty soon and they'll most likely be available as a download only release. We want to follow up the double A side as soon as we can.
